RLG and S2S IMI Group form joint venture to enable reverse logistics services in the EEMEA region

Reverse Logistics Group of Munich, Germany and S2S IMI Group of London, United Kingdom are delighted to announce a joint venture which will extend their partnership operations into the EEMEA regions.

The first joint venture company, TRL (Turkish Reverse Lojistik A.Ş.) – 51% owned by RLG and 49% by S2S IMI Group – will focus on reverse logistic activities from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).  TRL’s services include transportation and collection, recycling management, re-sales of recycled materials and consultancy services.
Operating in Turkey, TRL will pioneer technology and know-how in the developing reverse logistics industry throughout the region.  In response to governmental initiatives and targets, the joint venture brings a wealth of expertise and experience in the implementation and management of regulatory and compliance schemes into Turkey combined with in-depth knowledge of the local market.
TRL is headquartered in Istanbul with a branch office in Turkey’s capital Ankara.

RLG and S2S will further explore other market opportunities within the region in the field of reverse logistics, recycling and environmental services including individual or collective take-back systems as well as regulatory and compliance schemes.
